In the frames of this article we are going to condemn science and the persons who work on this field, and the wrong statements made by the scientists. Then, we are going to point out the resemblance of art and science and their differences. It goes without saying that criticism is obvious for any science and, specially, for art. But not any critics can be accepted, it is very important to prove the facts and be ready to explain all the points. So, in the article we try to propose the elements of critics and the facts.

First of all, science mistakably regarded as religion and with time got the same status and the same rights to influence on people. On the day of its birth science supposed to develop and become a theory and, by the way, to get the necessary qualities in order to replace the religion and to be ready to give the answers on the questions on which religion could not answered. Using different methods and techniques in XXI century science had enough powers to stand on the place of religion, it turned to be the issue for faith and even for devotion. Such situation developed very quickly and the trust in science turned into unquestionable correctness.

Emile Durkheim was first who stated the science as the theory. Such theory had the opportunity to provide with enough time and proposed official religion but the base for it was science. The presence of great number of science permit the belief in the facts which were proposed by them and it was the reason for quick replacing of the religion on the second place even in the questions concerning the creation of the world. But such unquestionably facts were of double nature. First of all, science is grounded on the experience and it is certainly impossible to make any experiences on the creation of the world and the correct facts are still unknown. Secondly, science and religion are very different in structure and size, so it is wrong to stand these two things as science and religion into one row.

One of the final and most important elements of a science fair project is the report. While your presentation board will present the hypothesis, basics of experiment and key results your report will include expand on your hypothesis, include all details of the experiment and all results. In my study for this article I came across a list of questions that your report will revolve around. Again I must give credit to Salvatore Tocci and his book How To Do a Science Fair Project. Here are the questions you must ask:

1. What problem or question is being investigated?

2. What background information exists on this topic?

3. What equipment and materials were used in your experiments?

4. What procedures were followed to solve the problem or answer the question for this project?

5. What observations were made during the course of the investigation?

6. What information and data were recorded?

7. What conclusions were made regarding the original problem or question?

8. What suggestions were included for further research work to solve the problem more convincingly or answer the question more thoroughly?

9. What new problems or questions were uncovered by the project?

10. What sources were used?

Use these questions to gather the main sources of content for your report. Keep your report clear and concise and make sure that you answer all questions. Science fair judges are more impressed with quality over quantity. Write in a language any person could understand since not everyone that will read your report with be well versed in scientific terminology.

The body of your report should include the following sections: abstract (a brief summary), introduction, explanation of methods, results, conclusions and bibliography (works cited). The abstract is very important due to the fact that it will be the primary section that science fair judges will read thoroughly if not the only one. The abstract should be three to four paragraphs that summarize the main parts and points of the rest of your report. It will actually be easier to write your report, then the abstract rather than the other way around.

The introduction of your report can be viewed as an expanded version of your hypothesis. Add to it what the project attempted to prove and also what variables were used in the experiments. The explanation of your methods should be precise enough that a reader could duplicate your experiment using your report. You will want to explain each step in the experimentation process and may want to use pictures, graphs or charts to help readers understand what you are explaining. The results section will simply be inserting the actual results of your experiment. No interpretation is needed, simply state the facts. You may also include details on failures, errors or unexplained results. The conclusion of your report is the section that includes interpretation of your results. This is where you will determine if your hypothesis was supported or not. The last element is to properly cite all of your sources and references. Be sure to include author names, titles, page numbers and even publishing information (publisher & year).

If we are going to look closer to the elements of both, science and religion, we can observe that science is more connected to physical points and religion is more connected to insubstantial points. So, the essence of science can not be compared with the essence of religion as they are the opposite sides of one whole. In other words we can say that science answer on the question ‘How?’ and religion answers on the question ‘Why?’

But nowadays science tries to be general and not only to give the answers on ‘how’, but to be able to explain why and for what. Science also wants to comprehend the world as the religion did it. People want to see more then they see now and not always science can explain this. And only due to this fact science can not be as important as religion. Humans are so eager to know more and if science has no opportunities to propose the answers, humans turn to religion and satisfy their desire.

But nevertheless, the scientists do want to give for their work high rank and the same time right. But how much the desire was it can not be proved as there are not enough facts to make it real. So, the theory without necessary facts can not be correct and the facts for science can not be always demonstrated, but sometimes it can be proved to be false as a result for great number of researches.

There are a lot of persons who criticize the science. For example, Karl Popper proposed the theory according to which the facts to the scientific researches are only prospects and it need a lot of time in order to drop or to adjust the theory. Thomas Kuhn said that a lot of scientist just fit their experience to the already existed ones.

When purchasing any weight loss product, it is important to do your research. Many people are exchanging their opinions about Body by Science on DietBlogTalk.com

For an additional source, check out Body by Science on the very popular Sensational.com

Overview

For most people successfully losing weight doesn’t complete a diet; most of us also want to tighten up and develop a toned figure. The latter is perhaps the most difficult part of dieting. It often takes months and even years to develop a toned look, not to mention hours in the gym. The authors of Body by Science™ have developed a program that will allow the user to develop a toned figure in just 12 minutes each day. The book claims that it’s a “scientifically proven formula” that will develop the muscular look most people desire. The authors have years of experience and expertise in the area of bodybuilding and science—one author is a physician and the other is an expert in the area of bodybuilding.

Overview of Components

This program has a number of elements including exercises that build strength, speed up metabolism, and build muscle.

Components in Focus

The authors utilize research and years of experience to develop a program that helps people achieve their goals in a limited amount of time. Because the program uses a minimal amount of time the program is intense and rigorous. Body by Science™ focuses on the benefits of exercise and how it benefits life as a whole. That is, the book covers how their program is scientifically designed to maximize results all the way down to the cellular level. The program is explained piece-by-piece and has many photos to ensure that one learns the program correctly. The weight training program utilizes a system of high repetitions and low weight. Body by Science™ claims to avoid the “negative effects” of aerobic exercise. While completing this program one will, build muscle, develop cardiovascular health, speed up metabolism, and improve overall health—even prevent heart attacks and improve joint health.

Positives

• Body by Science™ doesn’t take much time.

Negatives

• 12 minutes a week seems a bit of a stretch to achieve results, regardless of intensity.

• By completing the exercises by oneself it will be difficult to determine if the exercises are done correctly.

• Body by Science™ places less emphasis on nutrition than exercise.

Final Thoughts

Body by Science™ is a program designed for those that have little time to exercise. It uses years of experience and expertise to help the individual develop a figure that is toned and taut. However, the book focuses too much on finishing workouts quickly. The problem with this program it may allow the reader to become complaisant. That is, the most important part of this program is the intensity level. Also, there isn’t much discussion of cardio, which is proven to help one lose weight. Most programs say that the body requires more than 12 minutes to reach a level where it can burn fat. Don’t forget too, that there are supplements that will help to control the appetite and burn existing fat on the body. Look for one with proven ingredients from a reputable company and use it in addition to a healthy diet and exercise program.
